Prime Bingo - Review

As online bingo fraternity still abuzz with the excitement of all the new releases of 2010, it seems that plans are afoot for the introduction of the next round of new blood if the recent Dragonfish/Prime Gaming collaboration is anything to go by. The two online gaming big guns have just announced the signing of an agreement which will give online bingo fans a new player in the name of prime bingo.

Cyprus based Prime Gaming is relatively new to the online gaming scene, but in its five year tenure they launched a number of gaming brands that have already garnered respectable recognition. These include Prime Casino, Prime Scratch Cards, Prime Poker and Prime Backgammon and have already made notable inroads into the respective market sectors. So it is quite expected of them to launch their new bingo site prime bingo, as part of their online gaming venture.

The agreement will see Prime gaming develop two stand-alone networks that will target the UK and one aimed at the pan-European market which will represent the Dragonfish interest in the relationship. Dragonfish is to bring a Total Gaming Services based offering to the table which will provide ePayment systems, chat moderators, technology services, hosting and customer care to the mix. It is unclear yet if this site will offer additional payment methods as paypal and allow its players to play PayPal scratch cards or PayPal slots like several UK sites do.

In addition they will also supply a complete set of Quickplay games that will include Blackjack, scratch cards, slots and virtual sports. These instant format games are well known throughout the online gaming industry and promise to make this collaboration an extremely promising venture. The involvement of industry player of this caliber also bodes well for the project. 

This agreement will boost the number of independent bingo networks underpinned by Dragonfish to 19 and the total number of brands the company supports to 60. Both Gabi Campos, the MD of Dragonfish and Chris Panayiotou, COO of Prime Gaming are upbeat regarding the collaboration and see it as not only highly beneficial to both companies but a boon to the industry in general.  

An agreement of this nature needs to be considered against the backdrop of the positive changes that have already taken place this year in the online bingo industry and one can only imagine what the future holds in the form of primebingo if those changes are used as a developmental model and benchmark for the brand, which they almost certainly will be.  

With that in mind the next twelve months is sure, at the very least, to match the last twelve as regards positive change in the industry. So the bingo community won't really get a chance to catch its breath before they have to hold it again during the primebingo pre-release frenzy. At the very least we can all look forward to another top class bingo operator which is sure to, yet again, raise the bar for those that follow and accelerate the pace of the positive change that has already made online bingo a better place this year.
